The first four stages are counted over the stage above them, all four over the AI answers this edition collected. The last two are a different instrument and a different population: sessions and key events on the business's own GA4 property over 2026-08-01 to 2026-08-31, which is a month of visits rather than a sample of answers. They are shown here because they are the end of the same journey, and they are not a share of the stages above them. A stage at not connected is an absent grant and never a count of zero.

- 362 sessions from AI assistants, read from the business's own GA4 property 000000000 over 2026-08-01 to 2026-08-31, 0.39% of the 93,830 sessions the site received in that window. Counted over sessions, not over the answers above: those stages are this edition's sample of AI answers and this one is a month of visits. GA4 attributes a session to the assistant only when the visit began on a click out of it, so this is a floor.
- Conversions
- 19 key events recorded on those sessions over 2026-08-01 to 2026-08-31: 9 purchase, 8 file_download, 2 email_link_click. A key event is an action this property is configured to count, not a sale value, and no revenue figure is stated anywhere here.

View all 20 actionsExecutive Summary
Three figures carry this edition: how often the engines name this business on questions that never mention it, how often they link its site as a source, and how much of what they say about it is correct. Each figure prints the answers behind it as n of N, meaning how many individual AI-generated answers matched a specific condition (n) out of the total number of answers evaluated (N).
What this edition found
Sample Regional Attraction is named in 183 of the 335 AI answers this edition collected to questions that never mention it, 23 of those answers carried a link to sample-attraction.example, and on the 80 answers to questions that do name the business the engines returned it 80 times. The panel put 72 questions to 3 engines and recorded 415 answers on 2026-08-31, of which 415 were read against the fact sheet. BasisCounted from panel/runs and panel/grades; the same counts the headline tiles divide.
The engines made 118 statements about how the market sees Sample Regional Attraction, across 106 distinct claims that the fact sheet cannot settle either way. The dominant theme is price and value for money, carrying 38 of those occurrences across 35 claims, in answers from Bing AI answer, ChatGPT and Google AI Overview, followed by awards and rankings (29) and ratings and reviews (28). These are not errors and none of them counts against accuracy; they are the reputation the engines repeat when nobody asks about it. BasisCounted from panel/grades, claims the rubric classified as market perception, bucketed on the words each claim uses.
Local discovery (named in 40 of 92 answers) and Problem-led (named in 60 of 105 answers) are the weakest question groups the panel measured on a sample worth reading. The strongest is Attributes and superlatives, at 31 of 48. Groups resting on fewer than 8 answers, or on fewer than 8 distinct questions, are read as directional and left out of this comparison rather than ranked against groups resting on a hundred answers. BasisCounted from panel/runs and panel/grades, unbranded groups only; the full matrix is in the supporting detail.
19 of the 20 distinct claims the fact sheet contradicts this edition are about pricing, together 28 occurrences across Bing AI answer, ChatGPT and Google AI Overview. The claims quote 30 separate figures; their median is $36.95 against the $49.95 the fact sheet states, and 29 of the 30 sit below that figure and 0 above it, so the error leans below the real one. One distinct error falls outside that category. BasisCounted from panel/grades read against the fact sheet; the rows are listed in the accuracy chapter.
What this measures
The headline
Early Manifold reference panel: the most recent edition of each of 5 other measured businesses, anonymized. This business is excluded from its own comparison, and no business in the comparison is named.
In short
Sample Regional Attraction is named in 183 of 335 AI answers to questions that do not name it (55% weighted) and linked in 23 (7%), across 3 engines and 52 unbranded questions.
On the 80 answers to questions that do name it, Sample Regional Attraction is named 100% of the time (80 of those 80 branded answers), and named with no contradicted claim 83% of the time (66 of the same 80 branded answers). Both figures count the grader's verdict on the business itself, so an answer that described a different business under the name is not counted as named. That is a different population from the answers-with-no-contradicted-claim figure in the summary tiles, which covers the 263 answers of any kind, branded and unbranded, that name the business.
Across those same unbranded questions the engines put other businesses forward, and Peer 185 is the confirmed peer named most often, appearing in 129 answers. Section 5 sets out the full picture.
Supporting measures
One answer can name several businesses, so this counts appearances rather than answers: 510 appearances across the 335 unbranded graded answers. It is a share among the business and its 4 confirmed peers only, not a share of everything the engines recommend. For the whole field: the graders named 310 distinct businesses 2462 times in these answers, and Sample Regional Attraction's share of all naming is 7%.
362 sessions from 6 AI assistants, carrying 19 key events. This is a session count, not a share of the AI answers this edition sampled: the two are different populations and nothing divides one by the other.
Every share prints the observations behind it as n of N and the sample it rests on. A figure resting on fewer than 15 observations carries a small-sample chip. Local-pack presence is a Google surface, reported apart from the AI answers under the Google local pack in the Benchmark Scorecard chapter, and it never feeds the discovery figure.
Recognition and how it is named
Recognition and accuracy are two readings and this tile is the second of them: Sample Regional Attraction is named in 80 of 80 branded answers; 66 of 80 carried no contradicted claim. A branded answer that names the business and gets a fact wrong counts against this figure and not against recognition.

Sample Regional Attraction is named in 183 of the 335 graded answers to questions that do not name it: 123 as the recommendation, 53 among the businesses listed, 7 in passing.
Branded recognition is measured on the questions that name the business: brand protection, not acquisition. The split beside it counts graded answers, so one answer appears once.

Benchmark Scorecard
Every measure on one scale, so the rows compare at a glance. The left column is what the answer engines do; the right is what the site gives them to work with. A band is the rating attached to a score. The bar for being recommended is not the bar for being described accurately, so the two are banded separately and no percentage is judged against a single universal standard.

Competitive AI Visibility
The businesses the engines put forward on unbranded questions, discovered from the answers themselves rather than chosen in advance. Confirmed peers feed the competitive share; the rest are shown so a mismatched recommendation is visible. The peer the engines recommend most often is read against the business measure by measure, including the words the answers attach to each and the pages the engines quote.
The ranking
The peer recommended most
Peer 185 is the confirmed peer the engines name most often in this edition: it is named in 129 of the 335 answers to questions that name no business, and put forward first in 6 of them. Sample Regional Attraction is named in 183 and put forward first in 123. Being named and being recommended are two different outcomes and both are stated here so neither stands in for the other: average position 5.4 for Peer 185, average position 3 for Sample Regional Attraction. Appearances count any naming in the answer text, whether the business is put forward, listed among options or mentioned in passing. BasisCounted from panel/grades, unbranded answered runs only; the same counts the ranking chart and the recommendation table print.
Peer 185 is strongest on Category discovery, where it is named in 49 of 60 answers; Sample Regional Attraction is weakest on Feeder Markets, named in 1 of 14. The widest single gap between them is Feeder Markets: Peer 185 in 4 of 14 answers against Sample Regional Attraction in 1. Where the engines describe Peer 185 they most often call it "Multi-story pyramid with 1.5 million gallons of water" (12), "visitor attraction, rainforest, and interactive exhibits" (6) and "one of the largest visitor attraction exhibits in the region" (5); for Sample Regional Attraction the phrase they reach for most is "Largest visitor attraction in the region; over 4,000 animals, 300 species" (15), "largest coastal wildlife rescue facility in the region" (11) and "safe, guided shark snorkeling and cage dive experience" (5). BasisCounted from panel/grades, unbranded answered runs, groups with at least 8 answers behind them.

The printed copy leaves out 2 columns so the rest stays readable: the strongest groups, the cited pages. The interactive report carries them.
Sample Regional Attraction is in the table, counted the same way as a rival and marked as this business, so the two can be read against each other. Rows are ordered by how often each business appeared. Appearances count unbranded answers that mention the business, whether it was put forward as the recommendation, listed among options, or named in passing; they are a count of mentions, not of endorsements, which is the same unit the competitive share divides by. Primary is how many of those put it first. Status comes from the report configuration: confirmed peers were reviewed and marked as such, listed businesses were reviewed and marked as not a peer, and discovered businesses have not been reviewed yet.
Accuracy and Claim Audit
Every claim an engine made about the business was checked against the fact sheet. Supported claims match it, contradicted and outdated claims conflict with it, unverifiable claims are ones the sheet does not settle, and wrong entity means the answer described a different business under the same name. Claims about positioning and market perception are classified rather than fact-checked and are reported separately at the end of the chapter. Accuracy is reported as three measures rather than one, because what was checked and how much could be checked are different questions.
Claims by verdict
These answer different questions and must not be read as one. Verified claim support is how often the engines are right about what the fact sheet can settle. Verification coverage is how much of what they said the sheet could settle at all: the remainder is neither right nor wrong here, it is unchecked, and closing that gap is a fact-sheet task rather than an engine problem. The answer contradiction rate counts answers, not claims, so one answer carrying three wrong claims counts once. All three count only the claims the fact sheet was asked to settle: claims classified as positioning or market perception are outside every figure here and are reported separately under positioning and perception.
Counts are claims, not answers: one answer can carry several claims. Positioning and perception claims are not counted in any tile above; they appear under positioning and perception, with 122 occurrences this edition. Graded on 415 of 415 answered runs against rubric v2.1.
Distinct errors, most consequential first
The contradicted claims grouped into the distinct statements behind them, ordered by whether the error changes what a visitor can do and then by how far it has spread. One statement repeated across engines and questions is one thing to correct, not several.

20 of 20 errors change whether a person can complete a visit or a purchase: pricing, opening hours, closures, location and access, eligibility, and what visitors may physically do. Those are the ones to correct first. The kind of error is matched from the wording of the claim, so it is always checkable against the sentence beside it.
Every occurrence
Each row is what an engine said, next to the fact from the fact sheet that it contradicts. The contradiction is the point: the engine is confident and wrong, and a reader who never reaches the site takes the wrong answer with them. The sources column links the pages the engine cited for that answer, so the correction can be taken to whoever published them.

The printed copy leaves out 2 columns so the rest stays readable: the sources the answer cited, the screenshot. The interactive report carries them.
Sources are the pages the engine cited for the answer, or for the passage the claim sits in. Engines do not cite sentence by sentence, so a listed page is where to start looking, not proof that it published the wording shown. Open it before writing to the publisher: if the page carries the error, ask them to correct it; if the page is right and the engine paraphrased it wrong, the fix is a plainer statement on your own site for the engine to prefer.
Positioning and perception in AI answers
Not every claim the business would rather the engines did not make is an error. These two groups are claims the fact sheet cannot settle in the business’s favor because there is nothing to disprove. They are kept out of the accuracy figures and shown here, because the response to them is different: content that makes the preferred framing the easier one to repeat, rather than a correction sent to a publisher.
Positioning
Framings the business does not endorse but cannot objectively disprove, usually a use case a customer could genuinely pursue that collides with how the business positions itself. The strategic response is content, not correction.

Perception
Statements about the market rather than about the business: reputation, recognition, resale value, adoption, preference. No fact sheet can settle them, and they tell the business what the engines have absorbed about its standing. The themes come first, because one fact said four ways is one thing the engines believe and not four; the distinct claims behind them are underneath.

Target Question Portfolio
Questions a customer asks that the business should be the answer to, and currently is not. Each one prints how often it was named, and who the engines put forward instead.

Volume is Google search demand for the topic behind the question, a measure of how much the topic matters. It is never a count of AI prompts. Recommended instead lists the businesses the engines named on these questions, most frequent first.
Technical & on-page opportunities
The saved crawl turns site hygiene into 9 scoped work packages, including 5 high-priority items. The counts below are observed URLs or images, not estimates, and each recommendation includes examples and a re-crawl target.
Crawl health
Health formula: Health = 100 minus the sum over issues of min(10, weight x affected pages / crawled pages x 100), with weight 0.5 for an error, 0.1 for a warning and 0.02 for a notice, floored at 0. Every issue is counted in pages, over the pages this run actually crawled; nothing in it is sampled, estimated or extrapolated. Rules marked informational are listed so the totals reconcile and are not charged to the score.
Prioritized work
Break redirect loops
A loop prevents the destination from being reached at all.
Replace the conflicting rules with one direct route to a stable 200 page.
Re-crawl after release; reduce this reading from 7 of 570 pages to zero, or document any intentional exceptions.

The affected count above is the audit total. This list contains every URL retained by the analyzer for this issue and may be shorter where the analyzer caps stored examples.
Consolidate duplicate page versions
Identical pages split internal signals and leave crawlers to choose which address represents the content.
Choose the primary URL in each group, redirect true duplicates, and use a self-referencing canonical on the retained page.
Re-crawl after release; reduce this reading from 1 of 557 pages to zero, or document any intentional exceptions.
- https://sample-attraction.example/page-1gcizej — same text as /guest-code-of-conduct/, 697 words
The affected count above is the audit total. This list contains every URL retained by the analyzer for this issue and may be shorter where the analyzer caps stored examples.
Remove broken URLs from the XML sitemap
A sitemap that advertises missing pages repeatedly sends crawlers to dead ends and obscures the current inventory.
Remove retired URLs from the sitemap, restore pages that should exist, and redirect only where a genuine replacement exists.
Re-crawl after release; reduce this reading from 5 of 570 pages to zero, or document any intentional exceptions.

Connect orphaned pages to the site hierarchy
Pages with no editorial internal links receive little context or internal authority and may be discoverable only through the sitemap.
Link each worthwhile orphan from a relevant hub or supporting page with descriptive anchor text; remove or noindex URLs that should not be discoverable.
Rebuild the internal-link graph; reduce orphaned pages from 257 of 396 and verify that important pages are reachable from the home page.

Shorten redirect chains
Multiple hops add latency and make crawlers resolve several addresses before reaching the page to index.
Update internal links and redirect rules to point directly to the final 200 URL.
Re-crawl after release; reduce this reading from 1 of 570 pages to zero, or document any intentional exceptions.
- https://sample-attraction.example/page-12l5oz2 — 5 hops, ending at /stem-programs-camps/aquateen-academy/

Repair missing or weak main headings
A clear H1 tells readers and retrieval systems what the page principally answers. Missing and generic headings make the page's subject harder to resolve.
Add one visible, descriptive main heading to each affected content page and align it with the page title without copying it mechanically.
Re-crawl after release; reduce this reading from 24 of 396 pages and review the remaining examples manually.

Give priority pages distinct meta descriptions
Descriptions do not determine rank by themselves, but they give search results a clear, page-specific explanation and expose duplicated templates.
Start with conversion and high-demand pages. Write a distinct summary that states the offer, place or answer on the page; remove repeated boilerplate.
Re-crawl after release; reduce this reading from 298 of 396 pages and review the remaining examples manually.

The affected count above is the audit total. This list contains every URL retained by the analyzer for this issue and may be shorter where the analyzer caps stored examples.
Rewrite missing, repeated or weak page titles
The title is the page name search engines and answer systems use to distinguish one result from another. Repeated or weak titles blur that distinction.
Write one descriptive title for each affected indexable page, lead with the page's subject, and reserve the brand name for a consistent suffix.
Re-crawl after release; reduce this reading from 17 of 396 pages and review the remaining examples manually.

Label meaningful images with useful alt text
Unlabeled content images are inaccessible to people using screen readers and provide no textual context to image search or multimodal systems.
Add concise alt text that describes the image's purpose in context. Use an empty alt attribute for decorative images, and fix reusable templates before one-off pages.
Re-crawl after release; reduce this reading from 264 of 3839 images and review the remaining examples manually.

How this was measured
The module combines the business-site rows in source-1utw41q.example, source-1nxeat8.example and source-19muzw5.example. It excludes the obsolete meta-keywords signal and does not infer defects from analytics or webmaster properties. Measured 2026-09-02. Counts describe this saved crawl, not every URL the site may have.
Recommended fixes and optimizations
Everything this edition measured, turned into work, and grouped by the problem it answers. Every fix carries the evidence it was generated from with its numbers, a link to the section listing those rows, who owns it, and whether it needs a developer. Each one also names the figure to re-measure and the reading at which a movement in it would be distinguishable from the panel simply landing differently; the method chapter gives that calculation and states, once, what the plan does and does not promise.
The recommended fixes
Claims the engines state that the business can disprove, and the pages that would settle them.
Evidence: 19 of the 20 distinct contradicted claims this edition collide with the same fact sheet statement on pricing, together 28 occurrences across Bing AI answer, ChatGPT and Google AI Overview. The sheet says: "Adult - Ages 13 and older ($49.95). Child - Ages 3 to 12 ($36.95). Child - Ages 2 and younger ($0.00). Military ($44.95)"
How: Put the current figures in HTML text on one page the whole site links to, one line per item, each stating what it covers and who it applies to, with the date it was last checked beside it. Write the numbers as words on the page rather than only inside a booking widget or a PDF, because an engine quotes what it can read. Then remove or correct the older statements of pricing elsewhere on the site, since an engine that finds two versions is free to quote either.
Measure: Re-measure the share of answers with no contradicted claim on the next edition. It stands at 90% today (238 of 263 answers that name the business). On 62 distinct questions the 95% Wilson interval runs 80% to 95%, 15 points wide, so 96% or better on a comparable panel is the first reading distinguishable from noise. The threshold is directional: the method section gives the calculation. The 263 observations behind it are repeats of those 62 distinct questions across engines, and repeats of one distinct question are correlated, so the interval is computed on the distinct questions. Path: mechanical.
See the distinct errorsEvidence: 29 claims about the business in 25 answers disagree with the fact sheet.

Review the contradicted claimsA page an engine has not indexed cannot be quoted, however well it is written.
Evidence: Google confirms 44 of the 98 URLs inspected this edition and reports 54 of them as not indexed (55% of the sample), 49 of which our own crawl reached without trouble. The state Google reports most often is "Not found (404): NOT_FOUND" on 31 URLs.
How: Work the states in the index status panel in order, because they are different problems. A URL unknown to Google has never been seen and needs a link from a page Google already holds and a place in the sitemap. A URL discovered and not indexed has been seen and not fetched, which is usually a crawl-budget question rather than a content one. A page crawled and not indexed is the only state that follows a read, and it is usually thin, duplicated or near-identical to another page, so the fix is to make it worth holding or to merge it. A 404 or a noindex tag is the site's own answer, so confirm it was intended before spending anything on it.
Measure: Re-measure the share of inspected URLs Google has indexed on the next edition. It stands at 44 of 98 today. This figure is recomputed from the site and the engines rather than sampled from answers, so any change in it is a real change and not sampling noise. Path: mechanical.
See what the engines reportQuestions the panel asked that the engines answered without the business, and the pages that would change that.
Evidence: Adjacent and complementary has the lowest discovery among the higher-weighted groups (mean question weight 2.70, panel median 1.40): the business is named in 0 of 2 answers.
How: Use the questions themselves as the headings, worded the way people ask them, and answer each one in two or three self-contained sentences directly underneath, before any narrative or sales copy. That shape is what the engines lift from, and it reads the same to ChatGPT and Copilot as it does to Google. Add FAQPage markup as well, which is cheap and still parsed, but expect the wording to do the work: Google retired FAQ rich results in May 2026, so the markup alone no longer changes how the page looks in search.
Measure: Re-measure Adjacent and complementary discovery on the next edition. It stands at 0% today (0 of 2 answers). On 1 distinct question the 95% Wilson interval spans most of the scale, so no threshold here would mean anything: widen the panel before reading a movement into this figure. The 2 observations behind it are repeats of that single distinct question across engines, and repeats of one distinct question are correlated, so the interval is computed on the distinct questions. Path: content-led.

See the community and social citationsClaims the fact sheet can neither support nor disprove, which the business can settle from its own records.
Evidence: 584 of the 1,230 claims about the business this edition could not be settled either way against the fact sheet (53% verification coverage). The most repeated are "It is the largest visitor attraction in the region." (26), "It houses over 4,000 animals and 300 species." (12), "Highlights include Immersive Habitat, signature experience Bay and touch…" (12), "It houses over 4,000 animals across 300 species." (7) and "The Sample Regional Attraction Wildlife Rescue Center is the larg…" (7).
How: Take the list in the fact sheet section and answer each line with the current figure, the date it was true and who signed it off. A statement the business confirms turns an unsettled claim into a supported or a corrected one on the next panel, and every line added is a line the engines can be held to.
Measure: Re-measure verification coverage on the next edition. It stands at 53% today (646 of 1,230 claims). On 1,230 graded claims the 95% Wilson interval runs 50% to 55%, 6 points wide, so 56% or better on a comparable panel is the first reading distinguishable from noise. Each fix also carries who can make it happen. Owned: work the business controls outright, on its own site and its own records. Partner: work that needs a supplier, an agency or another business to act. Earned: coverage that has to be earned from somebody who owes the business nothing. Community: presence on forums and social surfaces the engines read but nobody owns. Platform: settings inside a platform the business holds an account on but does not run.

Community and social citations
The same citations, read a second way: which user-generated and social channels the engines drew on when they answered. A channel with no citations stays in the table, because the denominator is on the row and a zero that was looked for is a finding.
4,245 citations captured across all 468 runs in this edition, 314 of which carried at least one citation.

Share divides by every citation captured this edition, so the channel rows do not sum to 100%: most citations are on ordinary websites. In an unbranded answer counts citations that sat inside the text of an answer to a question that never named the business, which is the same population the sources table above counts, so a domain in both tables carries the same figure. Elsewhere is every other citation on the channel: listed beneath an answer, or on a branded question, or on a run that produced no answer. The last column is a subset of the in-answer column, and it excludes answers to questions that already named the business, which would name it whatever the sources said.
Subreddits these answers cited

1 distinct subreddit read from the paths of the 9 Reddit citations captured this edition; every Reddit citation carried a subreddit in its path.
What to do with this
r/RegionalTravel is the subreddit the engines pulled from when answering this panel. Read the threads they cited, then answer new questions of the same kind there as they appear. This is a participation target list, not a promise: nothing here says a post will be cited, and the measure is contribution activity in that subreddit, not a citation count.
- Evidence
- r/RegionalTravel: 9 of 9 Reddit citations, in 9 answers, most often on Brand reputation questions (example run the region-state-visitor attraction-018_bing-copilot_Harbor-City_r1).
The engines cite Reddit most when answering Brand reputation; Cost; Brand, factual. Those are the questions to be visibly useful on, both in the subreddits above and on the business's own pages, since the same wording feeds both.
- Evidence
- Brand reputation: 6 Reddit citations.
- Cost: 2 Reddit citations.
- Brand, factual: 1 Reddit citation.
Beyond Reddit, the engines cited Tripadvisor, Facebook, Yelp and Wikipedia in this answer set. Each of those is a profile or a page the business can keep accurate, complete and recently updated, which is work it controls outright.
- Evidence
- Tripadvisor: 583 of 4,245 citations (14%), in 252 answers, from Bing AI answer and Google AI Overview.
- Facebook: 257 of 4,245 citations (6%), in 105 answers, from Bing AI answer and Google AI Overview.
- Yelp: 58 of 4,245 citations (1%), in 39 answers, from Bing AI answer and Google AI Overview.
- Wikipedia: 56 of 4,245 citations (1%), in 51 answers, from Bing AI answer and Google AI Overview.
Tripadvisor and Wikipedia were cited inside the text of unbranded answers that named the business, so those channels are already part of how the engines describe it. Keep those profiles and threads accurate before opening new ones. Facebook, Yelp, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit and Forums and other user forums were cited this edition but never inside the text of an unbranded answer that named the business.
- Evidence
- Tripadvisor: 21 of its 583 captured citations sat inside the text of an unbranded answer naming the business, out of 40 that sat inside an unbranded answer at all.
- Wikipedia: 4 of its 56 captured citations sat inside the text of an unbranded answer naming the business, out of 4 that sat inside an unbranded answer at all.
Participate under the business's own identity, in the threads where the business has real expertise, and disclose the affiliation when a thread is about its own category. No incentivized posts, no second accounts, no vote or comment manipulation, and read each subreddit's self-promotion rule before the first post. A community that catches a business gaming it removes the account and the posts with it.
AI referrals
Everything above this point is counted over AI answers this edition sampled. This is counted over visits to the site, from the business’s own analytics property, and the two are never a share of one another: a session is a person and an answer is a reading.
Which assistants sent them
| Assistant | Source as GA4 records it | Sessions | Key events | People | Sessions, whole trend window |

4 of the matched sources sent no session in this window and are kept in the table with the figure they carry across the whole trend window, so a quiet month is visible as a quiet month rather than as a source nobody looked for.

What those sessions did
19 key events were recorded on the 362 sessions above.
| Key event | Times recorded |
|---|---|
| purchase | 9 |
| file_download | 8 |
| email_link_click | 2 |
The property counts 8 key events (close_convert_lead, conversion___form_submit___event_inquiry, email_link_click, file_download, generate_lead, phone_number_click, purchase, qualify_lead). Conversions here are those events recorded on sessions that arrived from an AI assistant.
Where they landed
The page an assistant sent the visit to, largest first, with the key events recorded on the sessions that started there. The contrast between the rows is the useful part: a page with a tenth of the sessions and more of the key events is the page the assistants should be sending people to.

How this was counted
- Sessions are attributed by GA4's own session source, which records the referring host of the click that started the session. A person who reads an answer and then types the address in later is not in this figure, so it is a floor on what the assistants sent and never a ceiling.
- This property has 8 key events configured (close_convert_lead, conversion___form_submit___event_inquiry, email_link_click, file_download, generate_lead, phone_number_click, purchase, qualify_lead), so conversions here are key events recorded on sessions that arrived from the sources listed above.
- The headline window is the whole calendar month 2026-08-01 to 2026-08-31.
- The AI bucket is the explicit source list in scripts/seo/lib/source-1ttkc66.example and nothing else. Every matched source is listed above with the rule that matched it, and every unmatched source that carries an assistant signal is listed separately, uncounted, for review.
- The headline figure of 362 sessions is the sum of the source table above. The trend series, which GA4 returns from its own filtered query, reports 363 for the same month. Both come from the same property over the same window and the difference is GA4's, not a different definition; the report states the source-table figure because that is the one whose parts are listed.

Index status
Every other figure in this report is taken from outside sample-attraction.example. These come from the engines themselves, through the read-only APIs the business has granted access to, and each one states the sample or the window it covers. A source shown as not measured was not read this edition, which is not the same as a source that found nothing.
Three populations, not one: the sitemaps offer Google 1,018 URLs, 98 of those addresses were inspected through the API this edition and our own crawl reached 557 pages on the site. The inspection sample is capped by the API and chosen to cover the homepage, the pages with the most impressions and a spread of crawled pages, so 44 of 98 is a share of that sample and never a share of the site. Nothing here states how many of the 1,018 URLs Google holds; the API stopped reporting it.
Index states Google reports for the URLs it has not indexed
A state for all 54 of them. These are Google's own state names. None of them is a review the site failed: three of the four common states describe how far Google has got with the address, and “Not found (404)” is the site's own response.
| Reason given | URLs |
|---|---|
| Not found (404): NOT_FOUND | 31 |
| Discovered - currently not indexed: no reason stated by Google | 10 |

- Re-measure Adjacent and complementary discovery on the next edition.

On 12 distinct questions the 95% Wilson interval runs 5% to 45%, 40 points wide, so 45% or better on a comparable panel is the first reading distinguishable from noise. The threshold is directional: the method section gives the calculation. The 105 observations behind it are repeats of those 12 distinct questions across engines, and repeats of one distinct question are correlated, so the interval is computed on the distinct questions. Reaching this demand with paid media
This report measures demand Sample Regional Attraction is not reached by today. Organic answer engine work closes that over months. The three options below buy reach against the same demand while it does, and each is priced off the figures this edition measured rather than off a generic rate card.
1. SmartChoice
Manicz SmartChoice Conversation AdsIncluded in each coordinated media plan below and bought on a cost-per-click basis.
Interactive chat-style ad units that answer the questions customers actually ask, on the business's own terms. Instead of a static banner, the unit opens with a real question from this report's panel, answers it in the business's own words, and hands the reader the next step. The conversation runs inside the ad, so the answer arrives before the click.
Illustrative sample creativeAnswers written from the confirmed fact sheet; fact ids on file. Creative 2026-09-01-draft-1, citing 9 statements.

2. Search Focused Targeting
Manicz Search Focused Ad TargetingIncluded in each coordinated media plan below and bought on a cost-per-click basis.
Display, native and video creative served to people who are actively searching the category. The targeting is built from search behavior rather than from interest categories, so the creative reaches someone while they are researching the purchase rather than weeks either side of it.

37 terms were read before clustering. 37 terms from this edition's Keyword Planner pull were grouped into 14 clusters. Two terms are one query when their words match after function words are dropped, plurals are stripped, admission is read as ticket and coupon, promo and code are read as discount, and every word that is this business's own name, city or state is read as one word: "Sample Regional Attraction" written before or after the city is one query, not two. A cluster is counted once at the largest volume returned for the group and never summed, and two clusters one word apart carrying the identical volume are folded the same way. Each cluster is then read as in-market intent (5 clusters, 53,010 searches a month), broad awareness (1, 1,900), feeder market demand naming another city (7, 158,680), competitor comparison (1, 1,900) or excluded (0). A cluster is awareness when it asks to look rather than to buy, or is a bare category phrase of 3 words or fewer with no commercial, local or comparison word in it. Volumes are monthly Google searches, which are searches and not people: one person searching a term four times is four.

Broad awareness1 cluster
Real demand for the category, but not a purchase in progress. Worth reaching, priced differently, and deliberately kept out of the in-market total.
| Cluster | Monthly searches | Why it is here |
|---|---|---|
| Sample Regional Attraction photos | 1,900 | Asks to look at the business rather than to buy from it, so it reads as interest rather than a choice in progress. |
Competitor comparison1 cluster
Searches naming a confirmed rival. Bidding on these is a separate decision from bidding on the category.
| Cluster | Monthly searches | Why it is here |
|---|---|---|
| visitor attraction Peer 234 tx | 1,900 | Competitor brand demand: the term names Peer 235. |
Sample Regional Attraction publishes its own comparison against these businesses, so somebody searching a rival by name and reading a comparison is a reader this business already writes for. That is a different buy from the category terms, with a different argument and a different landing page, and it is priced and reported separately here rather than folded into the base above.
The printed copy leaves out one column so the rest stays readable: the terms that normalized into each cluster. The interactive report carries it.
3. Paid Search
Paid SearchDynamic, set by the Google Ads auction.
Text ads on Google against the terms this report already measured demand on. The keyword list is not a fresh guess: it is the in-market demand and the coverage gaps from this edition's own keyword pull, which is also where the bid ranges below come from.

12 of 15 shown · Google Ads Keyword Planner pull for this edition. Volumes are monthly Google searches; bid ranges are Google's own top-of-page estimates. Terms naming a confirmed rival are listed separately below rather than mixed in here.
Top-of-page bids on the terms measured here run from $0.08 to $20.00; the table gives the range term by term.
Forecast from: Forecast from Google's own top-of-page bid ranges for these terms, $0.08 to $20.00, and not from the fixed CPC assumptions: paid search is bought in an auction.

Methodology and Data Trends
Nothing in this section requires action. It exists so that any figure in the report can be audited: how the panel was built, how the answers were collected and graded, how large a sample each figure rests on, and how this edition compares with the last.
The panel
Collected from 2026-08-15 to 2026-08-15. Repeats are stratified by question weight: questions weighted 1.4 were asked up to 3 times per engine; questions weighted 1.3 were asked up to 3 times per engine; questions weighted 1.2 were asked up to 2 times per engine; questions weighted 1.1 were asked up to 2 times per engine; questions weighted 1.0 were asked up to 1 time per engine; questions weighted 0.9 were asked up to 1 time per engine.

Method notes
- Single-period AI visibility snapshot collected 2026-08-31. Every figure in this report is one reading taken inside that window: none of them is a trend, an average over time or a seasonal measure, and answers vary by phrasing, timing and platform.
- Every search was made from one address, the collection market; no search was made from any other location.
- Keyword Planner volumes are Google search demand for the topic, not AI prompt counts.
- Search Console impressions, CTR and position between 2025-05-13 and 2026-04-27 are affected by a Google logging error and are not comparable; clicks are unaffected.
- AI referral sessions, the referral and conversion stages of the funnel, and the AI referrals block are first-party figures from the business's own Google Analytics 4 property 000000000, counted over 2026-08-01 to 2026-08-31. They count sessions on the site, not answers from the panel: the two are different populations measured by different instruments over different windows, and nothing in this report divides one by the other. The assistant sources counted are listed with the rule that matched each one; a source that is not on that list is not counted, whatever it looks like.
- Index status is measured from the engines' own read-only APIs. Google: Google Search Console URL Inspection and Sitemaps APIs, read on 2026-08-31, from the 2026-08-31 run directory. Index coverage is a sample of inspected URLs and never a site total.
- Objectives in the plan are directional, not forecasts. Each item names where its figure stands in this edition and commits to re-measuring the same figure on the next one. No specific increase is promised: nothing measured here models how a rate responds to the work. What each item does state is the reading at which movement would be distinguishable from sampling noise, computed as a 95% Wilson score interval on that item's own sample. The Wilson interval is used rather than the textbook normal approximation because the approximation collapses to a band of zero width at 0% and at 100%, which is exactly where several of these figures sit: a group named in none of its answers would otherwise be told that any reading above zero is a real movement. The interval is computed at the level of distinct questions, not observations: repeats of one question, asked on three engines and repeated within an engine, are correlated readings of one question, so counting them as independent trials would claim more evidence than the panel holds. n is therefore the number of distinct questions behind the figure, and every threshold in this plan is directional for that reason. A figure below the threshold on the next edition is not evidence of a change, and a figure above it is not a promise that the work caused it. Items on a figure recomputed from the site rather than sampled from answers carry no band, because there is no sampling noise in them. Judge an item by the implementation it names, and by the re-measurement.
- Run keys carry a market token, as in "the region-state-visitor attraction-001_bing-copilot_Harbor-City_r1". It is the panel's label for the market the question belongs to (Harbor City), not the place the search was made from: every search left from the collection market, and the token never changed that.
- Accuracy is checked against fact sheet 2026-08-31-intake: 9 statements; 6 sourced from the business's own site, 2 confirmed by the business, and 0 still open. Source and confirmation can overlap. A contradiction means the answer disagrees with a settled fact; open rows cannot support or contradict a claim.
- A question counts as branded when it carries the business's brand phrase ("Sample Regional Attraction", "the regionstatevisitor attraction") or a configured alias, matched on whole words, while the words inside the brand that name a place, a state, a category or a generic label (the region, state, visitor attraction) are not brand tokens on their own, so a question using one of them without the brand phrase is counted as unbranded.
- Branded recognition counts every answer to a question containing the brand phrase (80); the Branded question group is the panel's own grouping and can be smaller.
- 303 distinct businesses were recommended across the unbranded answers; the competitor table shows the business's own row, every confirmed peer, and the 25 most recommended of the rest.

Two conventions hold throughout the report. Every share prints the observations behind it as n of N: how many individual AI-generated answers matched a specific condition (n), out of the total number of answers evaluated (N). A share resting on fewer than 15 answers carries a small-sample chip. A figure this edition could not measure says so in words and is never drawn as a zero.
Every question asked
The appendix carries the full answer for 126 of the 415 answers this edition captured: every answer the report quotes as evidence, plus three per question group. The remaining 289 keep their row, their outcome and a 200-character excerpt. The complete Harbor City is a separate file, linked in the admin view.

Terms used in this report
Every phrase this report leans on, in plain language.
- Unbranded discovery
- How often the business shows up in an AI answer when the question never mentions it by name.
- Citation
- A link inside an AI answer pointing at a page, telling the reader where the answer came from.
- Primary recommendation
- The business an answer puts forward first, before any other option it goes on to list.
- Mention
- The business's name written into the answer text. A link with no name is a citation, not a mention.
- Indexing
- Whether a search engine has stored a page in its index. A page that is not indexed is generally less eligible for index-based search and citation, although some assistants can retrieve pages directly.
- Crawler eligibility
- Whether the site lets an engine's robot fetch a page at all, before anything on the page matters.
- Confidence
- Confidence considers both total AI answers and the number of distinct questions, because repeated answers to one question are not fully independent.
- Directional
- A figure measured on fewer than eight distinct questions. Reported as a count, not read as a level, in either direction.
- Fact sheet
- The list of statements the business has confirmed true, which every claim in an answer is checked against.
- Market perception
- A statement about how the market sees the business. Not an error, and nothing the fact sheet can settle.
- Positioning
- A use case or framing an answer attaches to the business that the business does not put itself forward for.
